Recreational Gymnastics

Our Recreational programme is run using the British Gymnastics proficiency award scheme.

Our coaches are experienced gymnastics coaches who have performed at competition and have had their children compete in the gymnastics environment.

The club is currently building its recreational base level and the club, with the ambitions of our coaching team believe that we can achieve so much more. We are a competitive club and have attended numerous competitions over the past few years. The club aims to improve this and have gymnasts at a High Regional level within 5 years.

We have excellent equipment including:

  • A competition beam
  • A training beam
  • Mini ‘A’ bars
  • Rio Asymmetric bars
  • Inflatable tumble track
  • FIG level vault
  • Practice vault and landing area
  • 12m x 12m floor area
  • Multiple spring board and protectors
  • Pre-school equipment.

Classes are built around good sound gymnastic principles and dedicated hard work and discipline.

The aim is create a fun environment in which gymnasts can thrive and go on to competition. The children have the opportunity to work with the Governing Bodies own set standard badge proficiency scheme and receive badges and certificates to show how well they are doing. (These are an additional cost).
